Our generation? The elder or the younger?

She is Severn Suzuki, a daughter of an environmental activist, David Suzuki.
This video was recorded 17years ago (in 1992).

Listen carefully what this 12 years old girl said, and realized that global warming is nothing new to us, human being. It wasn't new to them also in 1992.
Yet we act nothing.
Yes, you might know what is global warming, it's a very common issue to human race in 2009.
Yet, anyone act for it?

Whose fault is it? Is that the elder ones doesn't teach us much in global warming issue, and how to act accordingly?
Or, we knew it, but we assume it just doesn't matter with us, let the scientist solve it?
