After party, after party...
camp fire, camp fire..

here we go!!!!


5th of June....camp fire at HULU LANGAT!!!

after attending the class in the morning,
those who want to join for the after party
gather in front of media hub by 1pm...

(wonder why didnt everyone in the class join???)
too expensive???
is rm65 too expensive for two days one night camp??
different ppl different answer!!!


before we went to Hulu Langat,
22 of us went to visit Malaysia Handicraft Center

Fun!!! and took a lot of artworks from the artist!

Oh ya!! Here v are!! D DrCAMPSITE campsite..=.=!!

Is d bridge reli reli reli safe?! (Ya.. Sisters!!!)

What a suitable location for camping.. N tellin the endles ghost stories (Our nite activity!)

The camp is totally fun and there is indeed no regret of joinin d camp!! Hopinfor d next one :)

Finally, 26/5/2009 2pm, our opening ceremony of the gallery


working so hard for it, by spending

a lots of night finishing pinatas and fund raising

bracelets, anklets and keychains.....

JJ_CAK is formed when three group were combining
in the fund raising activity..

G2, G6 and G10 were combined into one.

we were selling bracelets, anklets, keychains and earings..
(All are HANDMADE)

Besides fund raising from each group,

we (the whole class) involved in selling recycled bags...

-----to promote the use of recycle bags in stead of plastics bag
that are non-biodegradable!!!!

Whole the exhibition is also for fund raising purpose

Every group was told to come out with one fund raising
activity.

The fund that collected was donated to the orphanage home
in building a library for the kids.

Four Balloon shaped Tisu PVA Glue Covered Pinata~~and its wings~~

preparing for the exhibition...fund raising for orphanage home
building new library for them

PINATA GROUP!!!
spending three night to complete the task
4 pinatas and a pair of Gothic wings

4 pinatas with demonic visages = symbols of human's greed and
insatiable carving for the natural resources on earth

(representing ALL the evil behaviours, attitudes, and elements that human posses)

1st day=1st time staying overnight at college

=decorating wings with purple, black and red colour to giv a Gothic look

=cover balloons with tissue and PVA glue to make over shape pinata

Because of the nicely decorated Pinata,
we decided not to hit them,
jus attached word under it and cover with ribbons

then, in the opening ceremony,
Mr. Tony will peel of the ribbons
and reveal the words...

These four words "LET US GO GREEN" were attached to the pinatas
means that even the evil forces are asking mankind to
APPRECIATE mother nature by going GREEN~~~~

SOLUTION 1# Prefer fresh food instead of frozen food which needs 10 times energy for preservation
















SOLUTION 2# Buy organic food
- original soil from conventional farm releases zero harmful substance to the environment















SOLUTION 3# Methane is the second most significant greenhouse gases and cows are one of the greatest methane emitters.













SOLUTION 4# Encouraging public of energy conservation
- share infomation about recycling and energy conservation















SOLUTION 5# Trees take in carbon dioxide and give us oxygen
- when the concentration level of carbon dioxide decreases, the issue of global warming will definitely decrease too













SOLUTION 6# Use renewable energy











SOLUTION 7# Buy energy-efficient products to avoid extra emission of heat and the waste of power energy


















SOLUTION 8# Drive less & drive smart
- less driving means less emission of green house gases and heat energy
- walking, hiking and biking are another alternative ways for transportation
- car pool works as well

















SOLUTION 9# Change your light bulb
- regular change to compact fluorescent light bulbs to prevent the elimination of green house gases











SOLUTION 10# Use less heat and air conditioning
- install weather stripping around doors and windows
- lower heat cost by reducing amount of energy needed to heat or to cool the house















SOLUTION 11# Reduce, Reuse, Recycle
- Choose recyclable products instead of disposables
- Recycle paper, plastic, newspaper, glass and aluminium cans
- Reduce open burning when release unnecessary heat energy
